International Seminar of Sport and Science 2026

The University of Madeira, through the Department of Physical Education and Sport, together with Funchal City Council, the Portuguese Football Federation, the Madeira Football Association, Regional Sports Directorate, Interactive Technologies Institute (ITI), Research Center in Sports Sciences and the Health Sciences and Human Development (CIDESD) are organising the Sports and Science Seminar 2026. This is one of the main regional scientific events in the field of Sports Science, which has attracted numerous national and international researchers and is a highly relevant activity in the training of sports agents.
It is in this spirit that the Sports and Science 2026 Seminar aims to promote the debate of ideas, share innovative experiences and strengthen the scientific and professional sports community.
The Sports and Science Seminar 2026 aims to promote scientific networking through conferences, symposium, oral presentations and poster presentations.
